Sail from our base, the Yacht Haven in Troon, Ayrshire, aboard 'Chewsy' our comfortable, well equipped Moody 41 with spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests. Our boat is coded to the rigorous safety specifications demanded by the MCA, and in many areas our safety features exceed those expected. We offer expertly created meals using only fresh produce and your evening meals are accompanied by a bottle of wine.
We also offer skippered family charters, with the kids having their own bunk cabin close to mum and dad. They have their own log books - prepared in house with room for pictures, and containing activities to keep young sailors amused.
Sailing in the Clyde and off the West Coast of Scotland can be challenging, demanding, exciting and great fun.
Come with us and let us show you the beauty and wildlife that is all around us in the Clyde.
The Isle of Arran is well worth a visit. With its Castle at Brodick, it has wonderful gardens to explore. Bring walking boots and master the 874m to the top of Goat Fell. If that's too strenuous, visit the chocolate factory, the cheese shop or the brewery. The choice is yours when you visit this wonderful island on a sailing course, day sail or skippered charter.
The Kyles of Bute always offer good sailing and great scenary, with Rothesay an ideal place to stop overnight on both our sailing courses or charters.
Other destinations for your course or charter here on the West Coast of Scotland are Tarbert, Loch Fyne; Millport on Great Cumbrae; as well as the plentiful unspoilt anchorages scattered throughout the Clyde
